Join Award-Winning Authors, Educators and Photographers Jack Davis, Dewitt Jones, Rikki Cooke and Rad Drew this November 9-16 or November 23-30 2019 on the incredible Hawaiian island of Moloka'i for a once-in-a-lifetime experience of Breathtaking Beauty, Creativity, Learning, Passion and FUN!
This creative photography and digital imagery retreat is a week dedicated to sharpening the eye, expanding the mind and recapturing the joy of photography (and the fun of sculpting your work to perfection afterwards!) on one of the most beautiful and unspoiled islands in all of Polynesia!
Spend the week exploring with Camera or Smart Phone (or with both, as most of us do!) in hand such places as the Royal Kapuaiwa Palm Grove and lagoon, Halawa Valley Gardens and it’s neighboring black sand beaches, private land trust Mo’omomi Bay (for a sunrise looking up at the tallest sea cliffs in the world!), Papohaku
Beach (one of the best locations anywhere for wave photography!) and so much more. Relax at the Hui Ho’olana retreat center on its secluded 100 acres, surrounded by a spectacular view of the western half of Moloka’i, the Pacific Ocean and distant islands. A beautiful rock-framed swimming pool and organic gardens compliment the grounds. And when we’re not shooting, we’re learning (or playing or chilling or getting a massage ;) - about the latest and greatest features and life-saving workflow boosts of our desktop workhorses of Lightroom, Photoshop and 3rd part programs, to hidden features and indispensable apps for our mobile creative workflow.

And after we shoot the sunset each night we’ll enjoy incredibly delicious dinners in the main lodge followed by inspirational and informative slide shows while sharing a glass of wine (or macadamia nut liqueur!) and review- ing the day’s events with your fellow photographer artists.
